ThyGoat brings a blend of melodic death metal, intertwined with an immersive narrative of their high-fantasy world Eresia. In „Betrayal of Kin“, listeners are thrust into a pivotal moment of a catastrophic calamity that took place a thousand years ago. Where the world’s guardian was slain by his own kin, leaving behind a land ravaged by magic, now simply called the Wasteland. This tragedy is narrated by the Witch of Aletheia, the band’s female vocalist, who takes on the role of Eresia’s storyteller, recounting its events.
